This personalised guidance service is designed specifically for new bird owners. Whether you're caring for a single parrotlet or managing your first pair of cockatiels, we’ll walk you through all the essentials of responsible, confident bird care — tailored to your bird’s species and your unique home setup. What’s Included: • A detailed pre-session form to assess your bird’s species, environment, lifestyle, and your experience level • Species-specific guidance on diet, housing, enrichment, and routine • Key health indicators to monitor (what’s normal and what’s not) • Safe foods and feeding schedules, including tips for transitioning diets • Dangerous household items, toxins, and common safety mistakes • Emergency planning: signs of illness, first aid essentials, and when to see a vet • Introduction to body language, training basics, and behavioural development • Practical tips for building trust, setting routines, and avoiding common pitfalls • A professional PDF summary tailored to your species and circumstances, delivered within 3–5 working days Optional Add-On: 30-Minute Video Session – £30 Get extra support with a personal call to talk through your setup, ask questions, and gain clarity on anything you’re unsure about. How It Works Once you book and complete payment, you’ll receive an email with a link to our Beginners 101 Intake Form. This helps us get to know your bird, your home, and your specific needs so we can offer the most relevant advice. After we receive your completed form, your tailored PDF guide will be sent to you within 3–5 working days. If you’ve chosen the video call option, a Google Meet link will also be provided. Please allow at least 5 working days before scheduling your call so we can prepare your materials in advance.
